Baylor is running their second annual blackout game, which will get the anxious fans going even more. The Bears have really come into their own at home, and it should be quite the showing for the No. 6 team in the nation. Expect a high scoring, one sided-affair in revenge of OSU's win over Baylor last year.
5. OSU’s Daxx Garman throws two interceptions

Like the Cowboys in general this season, their QB has disappointed since riding a five-game win streak. Ever since late September, Garman has thrown an interception at least once, and has five multi-INT performances. Baylor’s defense will be especially aggressive, and the likes of Orion Stewart and Xavien Howard will be the ball hawks for the Bears.
4. Bryce Petty Reenters Heisman talk

Baylor fans can agree that they have quite a love-hate relationship with their QB. He often overthrows his targets and doesn’t hit all the right one, but then he has heroic moments where he looks as good as anyone. Baylor will be putting up style points this week, and a lot will come from Petty. If he looks better than TCU’s Trevone Boykin, expect media attention around the senior QB.
3. Baylor Wins by Shutout

Baylor’s defense is mad. It is ranked as a top-20 defense, allowing just 21 points per game. However, because of its weak schedule, it has mostly been written off. But since the TCU game, it has been improving immensely and also been quite disciplined with fewer penalties. The defense hasn't shut out a team since its opener, but only allowed 14 points to Oklahoma in the first quarter. The unit is out to prove something this week.
2. Baylor wins 55-0

Baylor fans have found the fourth quarter to be a troubling time not because they aren’t a second-half team, but because Art Briles is a wise sportsman. Fans want him to run the score up even more, and on multiple occasions, Baylor could have topped 80 points as he rests his starters for safety. However, there’s no holding the wall this week, and the Bears know they need to beat the Cowboys by at least 33 points compared to TCU’s win.
1. Baylor’s Win vaults them up rankings

Last week, the committee penalized Baylor for not playing. TCU is not playing this week, and if Baylor can convincingly beat OSU compared to TCU’s victory, I don’t think they can hold the two Big 12 teams’ resumes as “unequal” any longer. Maybe they’ll only move to No. 6, but they’ll move up with a big win.
