The New York Jets‘ veteran purge this offseason points to them tanking the 2017 NFL season, but the Tennessee Titans are hoping to head in the other direction after landing wideout Eric Decker.
This signing went down very quickly, as Decker’s first free agent visit became his last in a matter of hours.
Titans and former NY Jets WR Eric Decker reached agreement on a one-year deal, per source.

Marcus Mariota has to appreciate this addition, as do the Titans’ other skill position players.
Tight end Delanie Walker was the team’s biggest weapon a year ago, with top draft pick Corey Davis expected to learn a lot under Decker’s tutelage.
This Titans team could be building a lasting winner if smart, veteran additions like Decker are any indication.
