The national anthem has become a talking point around the NFL, with players everywhere choosing to show their distaste for the state of America today in many different forms during the song.
Both Michael Bennett and Jeremy Lane of the Seattle Seahawks protested in their own ways during the anthem on Friday night, but they were joined by an unexpected guest in white teammate Justin Britt.

Here was Britt’s reasoning behind standing in solidarity with his teammates.
This type of hard line against discrimination across all races will carry a lot of weight when it comes to making substantive change.
