Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson does otherworldly things out on NFL gridirons, and is unquestionably one of the top five players in the entire world at his respective position.
But his attempt to throw out the first pitch for the Arizona Diamondbacks prior to their showdown with the San Francisco Giants on Thursday ended in unmitigated disaster.
Fortunately David Johnson is an All-Pro RB… pic.twitter.com/u5jPsJCsj1

Johnson rushed for 1,239 yards and 16 TDs on the ground in 2016, and added 80 receptions for 879 yards and four TDs in the pass attack. Obviously, this can only be described as an absolutely phenomenal campaign.
With that said, it’s simply hard to believe such an amazing athlete would have trouble throwing a ball around 60 feet. It just goes to show how difficult it is to crossover between sports when you’ve focused solely on one for so long.
Clearly, Johnson is no Bo Jackson. At least he can say he did a million times better than 50 Cent…
