The No. 1 seed Boston Celtics find themselves in a 0-2 hole in their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the No. 8 seed Chicago Bulls, and tensions are mounting in Beantown.
During Boston’s 111-97 loss to Chicago on Tuesday night, some of that frustration surfaced when Celtics guard Marcus Smart flipped off a home fan sitting courtside at the TD Garden after he missed a much-needed jump shot from downtown.

Smart quickly realized what he’d done and attempted to make it look like the exchange was friendly, but the tape proves otherwise.
The series shifts to Chicago on Friday in what is essentially a must-win Game 3 at the United Center.
