Expect No. 23 Northern Illinois to help Akron put that nasty 0-29 streak on the road to rest when the Zips visit DeKalb, Ill. later today. The Huskies have become accustomed to playing on the road so some of that home cooking may be hard to come by.
Without fifth-year senior corner back Antone Exum, No. 24 Virginia Tech may give up a "W" at home when they host Pittsburgh. With close calls against both East Carolina and Marshall, Virginia Tech is bound to break.
With No. 18 Michigan's struggles against the likes of Akron and then Connecticut only a week later, anything can happen when they visit Penn State inside a loud and proud Beaver Stadium.
No. 19 Northwestern is going to be in tough against a hungry Wisconsin Badgers team that believes they can beat anyone and everyone in the BIG TEN despite wearing a disappointing 3-2 record.
A close call against UCF is enough for me to think that No. 14 South Carolina may let one get away from them when they visit Arkansas inside Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Last week No. 5 Stanford showed that they really were human as they showed some vulnerability in their game against No. 16 Washington. Although they won that game, don't expect them to be able to do the same thing two weeks in a row and this time on the road against Utah.
Although they still look like they may boast the Nation's best offense, No. 2 Oregon hasn't been challenged whatsoever this season and could be thrown off of their tracks by a solid team in No. 16 Washington. The Huskies have hung in with the likes of Stanford and playing at home could give them the advantage if this game stays close.
