Expect ECU’s Shane Garden and Marshall’s Rakeem Cato to have a quarterback duel for the ages and for lots of points to be put up on the board.

Don’t let the fact that these two teams are unranked deter you from at least dropping in on this one. For Bowling Green and Buffalo, this game means a spot in the MAC championship game against Northern Illinois. The winner of this game continues on, the loser heads home and then sweats it out until the bowl games are announced.

Arizona State has already locked up a spot in the PAC-12 championship game, so this year's rivalry game with Arizona is all about pride for both teams. The Wildcats are coming off of a victory against Oregon, so they are not a team to be taken lightly. The Duel in the Desert for the Territorial Cup should be a dandy this year.

Don’t adjust your computer screen, the battle for Tobacco Road heads to the gridiron. The Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels will go head-to-head with a spot in the ACC championship game on the line for the Blue Devils. Don’t let the Tar Heels’ record fool you, this team is on a six-game winning streak and records don’t matter when rivals come together. For Duke, they’ll be looking to secure their first 10-win season in school history.
Series Record: Depends on who you ask, really. If you ask a Carolina fan, it’s 58-36-4. If you ask a Duke fan, it’s 57-37-4. Either way, the Tar Heels hold the advantage. Both schools claim they won the meeting in 1889 as neither side really knows who was the home team that day.

Both the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins have had some rough seasons this year, but it all culminates in an end of the year battle for the Victory Bell. Ed Orgeron has gone 6-1 since taking over at USC and Jim Mora has his Brett Hundley-led squad hunting for their first victory in the Coliseum since 1997. It’s battle of pride for the Victory Bell and it shouldn’t be one that you miss.

With Stanford already locking up a birth in the PAC 12 title game against Arizona State, this game is all about pride for the Cardinal. The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame have had their fair share of struggles this season and defeat of Stanford on the road would greatly help their bowl season implications. The battle for the “Legends Trophy” should be a good one.

For the first time in 111 meetings, both Clemson and South Carolina are ranked in the top 25 entering their annual rivalry game. Both teams average a lot of points and neither defense is considered stellar, so expect one heck of a duel between Connor Shaw and Tahj Boyd at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Texas A&M Aggies and Missouri Tigers are set to duel in Columbia, Mo. with the SEC East championship on the line for the Tigers and trip to the SEC Championship game. Last year, the Aggies demolished Missouri behind another Heisman-like performance from quarterback Johnny Manziel. For Texas A&M, they are 0-3 against ranked opponents this season and have a tough task ahead of them on the road.

Many experts are picking this one to be a blow out in favor of the Ohio State Buckeyes, but don’t sleep on the Michigan Wolverines. It doesn’t matter where either team is ranked or how they’ve been playing in the weeks leading up to this annual grudge match; both teams come to play and you can expect a great contest, especially at the Big House.

It’s the game of the week across the college football landscape and has provided for some memorable moments in years past.
