You have to appreciate good, old-fashioned college football rivalries.
The Michigan State Spartans and Michigan Wolverines have had a fierce rivalry over the years, but it has been taken down a few notches in recent seasons thanks to the dominance from Mark Dantonio‘s squad.
However, even with the Spartans holding the upper hand, they decided to take a shot at the in-state rivals on their brand new Cotton Bowl championship rings.
Even though the Cotton Bowl was a historic come-from-behind win against the Baylor Bears that saw the Spartans rally from a 20-point deficit, Michigan State couldn’t resist remembering their blowout win over the Wolverines.
Michigan State linebacker Darien Harris tweeted — then deleted — the rings.
Luckily for everyone, what is put out on the internet is there forever, so we can check out the Spartans trolling hardware.

We will have to see whether the one-sided rivalry can finally even out now that Jim Harbaugh is in Ann Arbor.
