About 48 hours ago, the Diamondbacks were left for dead. Several people had them being swept by the Brewers while others said that the series wasn’t going to come back to Milwaukee.

Like they have done all year long, Arizona can laugh at those critics while they prepare for Game Five tomorrow afternoon from Miller Park.

Arizona’s offense was the key to evening this series back up with two wins in Phoenix. The D’Backs offense erupted for eight runs in Game Three and got some great pitching from rookie right-hander Josh Collmenter winning easily to send the series to Game Four.

In Game Four, the offense crossed the plate 10 times in another victory. The offense had to step up because of Arizona’s pitching taking a step back. Joe Saunders was chased from the game after three innings allowing three runs and then the bullpen would allow another three runs, but the offense was more than enough.

Heading into Game Five, the D’Backs have to feel good about themselves. They have their ace on the mound with an offense that has crushed the ball the last two nights. If Ian Kennedy can pitch like he did all season long and if the offense can carry over to the Brewers park, Arizona could very well be headed to another NLCS.
