McLouth Plays In Minor League Game

Slumping and under increasing fire for his poor Spring play, Atlanta Braves centerfielder Nate McLouth played in an intrasquad Minor League game today in an attempt to find his swing and get himself going.
Calls for a Braves’ starting outfield of Matt Diaz, Melky Cabrera, and Jason Heyward have increased in recent days as McLouth has floundered badly in Spring play, recording just one hit in 35 at-bats (an .029 batting average), while striking out 14 times.
And one thing’s for certain.
That’s not going to get it done.
If Nate McLouth wants to be the Braves’ starting center fielder, he has to start hitting.
