Amazing rise for Graham, was coaching at my high school in 2000. Jumped from WVU (DC)-Tulsa(DC)-Rice-Tulsa-Pitt-ASU.

In a very surprising move this morning, University of Pittsburgh head football coach Todd Graham is leaving the university to take the head coaching job at Arizona State.  This move comes as a shock to everyone, including his players on Twitter.  This will be Graham’s fourth head coaching job in 6 years.

Graham must be getting a pay raise of some type because I can’t see why he would leave Pitt.  His Pitt teams weren’t overly successful, but ASU must see something in him that no one else has.  Their coaching search has taken forever, so this could be a case of them settling on a candidate.

We will have more information on this as it develops.
