VIDEO: Packers CB Charles Woodson cheap shots David Thomas
In last night’s exciting New Orleans-Green Bay 2011 NFL opener, there were plenty of highlight moments.
One moment which was less highlight-worthy– and for some reason, was quickly glossed over– was Packers CB Charles Woodson’s cheap shot to Saints TE David Thomas during the first half.
There is no doubt at all that Woodson hit Thomas in the mid-section. What is amazing about this is that the game continued as if nothing happened other than a simple personal foul.
Well, you can bet that the NFL is all over it and a fine to Woodson will be forthcoming.
Veteran team leader or not, Woodson does these types of things from time-to-time and he deserves the same fine that any other player would for the same action.
