Bubble Team Seton Hall Takes Care Of No. 9 Georgetown
Tuesday must have been the night for bubble teams to prove their worth as Seton Hall took care of No. 9 Georgetown 73-55 in a big Big East Conference game.
Seton Hall shot the lights out in the game. The Pirates players shot 61 percent, which was the most that any team had shot against Georgetown and in need of a signature victory for their tournament resume, the Pirates got one.
Jordan Theodore was the prime example of Seton Hall’s great shooting percentage. Theodore scored 29 points and recorded five assists in the win.
The Pirates defense came up huge as well.
Georgetown did not have any player in double-figures. Greg Whittington led the Hoyas with nine points. The Pirates also forced Georgetown in committing 11 turnovers compared to Seton Hall’s eight turnovers.
It was a huge win for Seton Hall who is looking to make a run in the NCAA tournament come March as well.
