Shaq Predicts Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow Will Lead New York Jets to Super Bowl
With training camp right around the corner, every NFL fan is anxious to see how the New York Jets use Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow–who was acquired from the Denver Broncos last season. While the team failed to make the playoffs last season for the first time during the Rex Ryan era, there’s one famous athlete that believes the combination of Sanchez and Tebow will lead the Jets to the Super Bowl–Shaquille O’Neal.
Shaq uploaded a photo to Twitter on Monday of himself pointing to Tebow’s arms with a special message to all of the NFL fans about his pick for the Super Bowl.
Shaq is right about at least one thing–Tebow is certainly one of the most jacked players in the NFL thanks to a strong work ethic. As far as whether or not the combination of Tebow and Sanchez can lead the Jets to the Super Bowl–that’s a different story.
There’s no question New York will certainly compete with the rest of the teams in the AFC, but both players still have plenty to prove when it comes to being an effective quarterback in the NFL. Defense has been the main factor for the Jets’ success over the last couple of seasons and it’s hard to imagine Sanchez–who threw for less than 200 yards seven times last season–and Tebow–who had a 46.5 completion percentage–being the main reason as to why this team gets to the promised land.
Then again–why would anyone question anything Shaq says?
