Johnny Machurek

NHL Featured Writer & Philadelphia Flyers Featured Columnist

Johnny Machurek was born and raised in Delaware. He has been following sports since he was around four or five. It is hard to find a sport on television that Johnny will not watch. In 2004 he interned with the Kansas City Royals' Advanced-A club the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Johnny performed some on field activities but his highlight was getting to write the out of town scoreboard script for the radio pre-game. In July 2011, Johnny started working for Rant Sports as the featured columnist for the New York Rangers. In October 2011, Johnny became the featured columnist for the Philadelphia Flyers. Since writing for the Flyers, Johnny has interviewed the legendary Bernie Parent and NHL All-Start Scott Hartnell. In Feburary on 2012 Johnny was made a featured writer of the Rant Sports NHL Page.
