Melissa is from Dallas, Texas as she is a huge Dallas Stars but was born in Dearborn Michigan. She has been a huge Dallas Stars fan since they won the cup in 1999 but a huge hockey since she was 14 living in Detroit. She started loving hockey when she saw Steve Yzerman playing for the Red Wings and he was an amazing player. He was the most dedicated player in the league and showed her to never give up on your dreams. She started following the Dallas Stars when she saw Brenden Morrow playing for the Dallas Stars.
