Hockey has always been a passion with AJ. Since 1992 he has followed his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. In recent years, however, AJ has found another team to follow. AJ has been to 2 meetings between the Avalanche and the Leafs, rooting for the Leafs both times. It wasn't until the first time AJ took his wife and daughter to see the Avs beat the New York Islanders 2-1 in overtime on January 5, 2008, that he became a diehard Avs fan. "Seeing my wife and daughter decked out in Avs gear and wearing an Avs practice jersey myself to the game really got me amped about Colorado," Olivieri says. Ever since that moment AJ follows Colorado very closely and considers them his favorite hockey team, tied with Toronto of course.
