We learned a valuable lesson during the Elite Eight game between the Baylor Bears and the Kentucky Wildcats.  That lesson is that apparently no one dances in Waco, Texas.  This Baylor fan in the student section looks like he has never danced in his life. Seriously, that dude needs to quit while’s he behind.  I [...]

The entire college basketball world was holding their breath on Sunday.  Early in the second half of the Elite Eight game between the Baylor Bears and Kentucky Wildcats, freshman phenom Anthony Davis went knee to knee with Perry Jones III.  Davis landed awkwardly and the entire arena held their breath. Luckily, it looks like Davis [...]

Video: Questionable Quincy Acy Flagrant Foul Call

Filed: 25th Mar 12 1:33 pm by

The referees are the main story of the NCAA Tournament.  If you like basketball, that is not a good thing.  Not a good thing at all.  The refs started off early during the Elite Eight game between the Baylor Bears and Kentucky Wildcats as Baylor forward Quincy Acy attempted to strip the ball on a [...]

Although the Elite Eight matchup between the Florida Gators and Louisville Cardinals is turning into a foul fest, there are still plenty of highlights.  With Florida nursing a six point lead, Gators forward Patric Young decided to bring the thunder.  This monstrous dunk brought the crowd to their feet and forced a Rick Pitino timeout. Tiger Woods is having a pretty good tournament so far.  However, he probably wants his tee shot back on 15 from Saturday.  Woods had a three shot lead in the Arnold Palmer Invitational until he shanked his drive into the backyard of a house neighboring the course. As a golfer, I’ve had this happen to [...]

Video: Peter Crouch Volley Is Soccer’s Goal Of The Year

Filed: 24th Mar 12 2:15 pm by

I know very little about soccer, but I do know an impressive goal when I see one.  Stoke’s Peter Crouch may have just taken the mantle for top goal of the season.  Crouch was able to volley the ball to himself and hit a perfect strike for the 1-0 lead over Manchester City. The skill [...]

Dale Zanine - US PRESSWIRE

This could possibly be the strangest story that I have ever read.  Brian Dawkins, who played safety for the Denver Broncos while Tim Tebow was in town, told XM Radio that Tebow tried to heal his injured neck last season.  Dawkins said Tebow and the team chaplain laid their hands on him and prayed in [...]

God bless cameras in the locker room.  After the Kansas Jayhawks had a thrilling 60-57 victory over the North Carolina State Wolfpack, tv cameras were packed into the Kansas locker room.  After head coach Bill Self delivered his postgame speech, he mentioned four of his players had to go take leak for drug testing. The [...]

Mickael Pietrus was taken off the court Friday night after a ridiculously scary fall.  The Boston Celtics were taking on the Philadelphia 76ers when Pietrus tried to drive the lane.  He was hit in midair and landed hard on his back.  The resulting whiplash resulted in a head injury. The Associated Press says Pietrus will remain [...]

Video: Quincy Acy Dunk Off Inbounds Pass

Filed: 23rd Mar 12 7:51 pm by
Filed under: Baylor Bears, The Clubhouse

Quincy Acy shows respect to no one.  This massive dunk Friday night shows how athletic the Baylor Bears forward really is. Xavier Musketeers should not have made him angry.  You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.  If Baylor stays engaged like this, they will be very difficult to beat.  When they are focused, they can’t [...]
