After last night’s thoroughly upsetting 6-0 defeat at the hands of the 12th-in-the-conference Buffalo Sabres, as represented above by Jordan Caron fumbling with the puck right in front of Ryan Miller, it’s no surprise that reportedly today’s Bruins practice is pretty brutal.

I’m conjuring up mental images of Claude Julien channeling his inner Herb Brooks from the “Again!” scene in Miracle. He’s gonna grind his guys out until someone in the throes of exhaustion almost keels over, stating their name and hometown before shouting “I play for the Boston Bruins!” (Maybe it will be one of the defensemen.)
Frankly, after the way they played last night, they deserve the “Again!” treatment.
