Washington Nationals Extend Gio Gonzalez for 5 Years

The Washington Nationals have locked up the guy they just traded for, Gio Gonzalez, for 5 years 45 million dollars. Again, I’ve really liked this trade for awhile as the Nationals got a young and controllable left handed power arm to go with Stephen Strasburg and Jordan Zimmerman.
The Nationals are building one heck of an organization, and fi they could lock Prince Fielder too? Sorry folks but the Washington Nationals would be going to the postseason next year. Even without Prince, Bryce Harper could be on his way up to give the Nationals that left handed, middle of the order power bat they desperately need.
I love what Mike Rizzo is doing and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store.
