Pittsburgh Pirates outfield star Andrew McCutchen has a trademark hairstyle; dreadlocks. He love them so much that he recently sat for a video feature that not only explains how he maintains and cares for them but that he must wear a size 8 cap to tuck them all away comfortably.

McCutchen’s loves his hair so much that he says around the 3:00 mark that, “no amount of money could get him to cut them off, not even a million dollars.”

He later says if the Pirates could get to the World Series then, he would definitely cut them.

“Bringing (the World Series) back to Pittsburgh? Yeah, definitely. Just give the razor, plug it in and just not even think about it.”

Check out the video here:

McCutchen has started off as hot as anyone in baseball, hitting a team-high .339 in the No. 3 spot. His teammates haven’t been much of help though, he currently only has 5 rbi because nobody gets on base for him. He has been doing his best to score runs for his team however. He currently has scored 9 times and has 4 stolen bases.

He is absolutely incredible. His team is awful but he is giving it his all every single game. He is a superstar that any team in the league would love to have, but he remains loyal. He is so loyal that, the Pirates and McCutchen came to an agreement on a six-year contract extension that is worth $51.5 million and has a club option for a seventh-year at $14.75 million.

In my personal opinion, this is the type of guy you want on your team. He is loyal and hard working, plus he is a sensational player.

The Pirates have the future and present of their team in this superstar.
