Bills place Lee Evans on injured reserve

On Tuesday, the Buffalo Bills placed wide receiver Lee Evans on injured reserve. Sunday will mark the first time in his seven-year career that Evans will miss a game.
According to Jay Skurski of BuffaloNews.com, the Bills are calling Evans’ injury a high ankle sprain suffered last weekend during the team’s 13-6 win over the Cleveland Browns. On the season, Evans caught 37 passes for 578 yards with four touchdowns—including a three-touchdown performance against the Baltimore Ravens back in October.
The Bills’ passing game has struggled most of this season—ranking 25th in the NFL by averaging just 198.3 yards per game. While Evans has never been the consistent No. 1 wideout like other teams have—this just adds to the list of problems Buffalo has dealt with in 2010.
On the bright side, at least there’s only three games left in the regular season and the Bills were eliminated from playoff contention a long time ago.
