With the trade of John Scott to the New York Rangers, the Blackhawks needed a bit of a physical presence to add to the lineup.

To replace Scott in the lineup, they called up both Brandon Bollig and Andrew Shaw to add to the lineup, ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

While Shaw’s time in Chicago has already been met with a great deal of fanfare, Bollig hadn’t appeared in a Hawks sweater in his career. In his NHL debut,  he didn’t waste too much time before he dropped the gloves.

In the second period, Bollig dropped the gloves with Luke Schenn. He flashed a little smile before the two threw down, which eventually ended with Schenn looking for the refs to bail him out. Check it out.
