The White Sox offense had a very good week last week, earning 6 wins and keeping the White Sox on pace with the Twins. For this past week, the offensive player of the week is Alex Rios.
Rios went 8-23 last week and posted a line of .348/.464/.696. Of those 8 hits, 2 of them were doubles and 2 of them were home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored 8 times himself. He also drew 5 walks and stole 5 bases, the most on the team last week. He contributed in every way he could and that’s why he deserves the award this week.
