Paul Konerko is out of today’s game against the Tigers due to stiffness in his lower back. This is the second straight game Konerko has not played in. He said he started feeling it during the doubleheader on Saturday and almost got through the game Sunday but had to be taken out. It’s not a severe injury and is expected to be back in the lineup before the road trip ends.
