Fights always seem to be one of the most entertaining parts of a hockey game and while the NHL season just recently started–it appears we already have a bit of controversy after a matchup between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins from Thursday.

It took Aarron Asham of the Penguins just two punches to the face to knock Jay Beagle to the ground, but it’s his reaction from after the fight that is stirring up quite the controversy.  After Beagle fell to the ground, Asham skated towards the penalty box and did the “Go To Sleep” motion by using his hands as a pillow and rested his head on it as if he were going to sleep.

On the bright side–Asham realized he could have left the taunting out of the fight and apologized for his actions. Thanks to Bro Bible for the story and be sure to check out how quickly this fight ended by watching the video above.
