There have been recent rumors that Favre could get a call from Oakland to come back and play for the remainder of the season. The Raiders lost QB Jason Campbell due to a broken collarbone, and their likely replacement David Garrard to back surgery. So, we’re going to briefly discuss the possibility that Brett Favre could come back to play in the NFL, once again.

Could Brett Favre Come Back to Play for Oakland?

Favre has been relaxing comfortably in his home state of Mississippi, and supposedly  riding around on his mower. That doesn’t surprise anybody, but if an NFL team were to come in and ask him to play for about half of a season, I’m not so sure that he wouldn’t entertain that offer. The man has to be itching to play football. After sitting out this long, and sticking to his guns and staying retire, another NFL team offering him a deal might very well just be the thing that triggers yet another comeback.

Sure, at this point it’s completely speculation…but it makes a lot of sense for both sides.
