Packers Cornerback Erik Walden Has Trial Date Set
Erik Walden was arrested on a domestic violence charge awhile back after having a major fight with his girl friend. The Green Bay Packers forced Walden to make a public apology after he was released from jail on thanksgiving weekend, and has continue to play since having a decent year as a defensive back.
The trial has been scheduled for mid February because Walden pleaded not guilty to the charge.
It’ll be interesting to see what comes out of this and if the Packers will keep Walden around if he’s found guilty. I mean, they couldn’t release him a month ago because he was needed…right?
