Video: Betty White’s Monday Night Football Introduction
Ever since Hank Williams Jr. talked his way out of his cozy Monday Night Football introduction job, the people handling the intro have changed week to week. For instance, in Detroit, it was Barry Sanders. Monday night’s game between New Orleans and Atlanta was graced by the presence of Betty White.
I still haven’t decided whether I should laugh or facepalm at this. White still manages to be funny, even in old age. However, I don’t picture her when I think of MNF. The intro brought some laughs, but then when she talked about thinking Matt Ryan was hot, it just got weird.
At least ESPN is thinking outside of the box for once. I’m actually surprised they didn’t have Tim Tebow to do the intro, since they can’t talk about another miracle Broncos win this week.
