Sunday’s game between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers was one for the ages. Green Bay quarterback Matt Flynn set the Packers franchise records for most passing yards in a game and most touchdowns thrown in a game. Matthew Stafford of the Detroit Lions threw for over 500 yards in a widely entertaining game.
Even the commercial breaks were great. After Green Bay’s last touchdown, a (probably) drunk fan ran onto the field to get his 15 minutes of fame. He made a loop around the end zone and tried running down the Packers sideline. Green Bay backup linebacker Brad Jones decided he’d seen enough. Jones absolutely leveled the fan, dropping him to the turf so security could arrest.
Packers fans can agree that this is the best play that Jones has made all year. Now only if he could do that to starting running backs.
