Video: Mother Upset With Top Recruit’s Decision
Landon Collins is the No. 1 safety prospect in the country according to ESPNU 150. Collins just recently announced his decision to attend Alabama at the Under Armour High School All-American Game. The safety was down to two schools, which also happen to be the two teams in the BCS National Championship, not such a bad place to be. However, the New Orleans native was being pushed by family and friends, especially his mother, to choose the local LSU. Collins did not oblige and went against his family’s wishes to fulfill his own dreams, rightfully. Regardless, the video is priceless as the technological age has struck once again. Collins’ mother is visibly upset after her son’s announcement…then takes it so far as to say “Geaux Tigers!” during her interview immediately following the announcement. Wow, you stay classy San Diego.
