Manchester City at Everton : Fan Handcuffs Himself To Goal Post During Game

LIVERPOOL, UK — It appears that hooliganism is alive and well in English soccer as one soccer fan would proudly demonstrate.

According to Daily Mail, an unidentified man would run onto the pitch at Goodison Park and handcuff himself to the goal post of Manchester City goal keeper Joe Hart.

The match between defending FA CUP champion and English Premier League table leader Manchester City and Everton would be delayed with under five minutes remaining in the first half as the unidentified man would be escorted away.

Yes, I do speak English. Do you?

If you did some research you would find that a) that guy is NOT an Everton supporter and B) he is a serial pitch invader and had invaded multiple sporting events throughout europe which has nothing to do with hooliganism. He’s just a mindless idiot who thinks it’s funny to interrupt sporting events claiming that he’s “protesting” which is usually something stupid i.e. like today about Ryanair airlines. Also the crowd madly and widly jeered him for interrupting the game.

      Louise,

Thanks for the tidbits and the piece has been updated accordingly, I do take my time to do my research when ever I write an piece and when I used the word “holliganism” I meant it jset and not in a offensive manner. I have heard about this guy going from pitch to pitch doing stupid things. Congrads on EFC beating Man City, now if my Gunners can take advantage….
