Linsanity is threatening to knock Tebowmania off its perch. New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has become an overnight sensation as he’s led the Knicks on a five game winning streak. Lin’s jersey sales are through the roof and he was just named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

I fail to see why race needs to be brought into every argument. Lin has energized the NBA. It wouldn’t matter if he was purple. Lin has turned the Knicks around, something that two black and one white point guard couldn’t do. Skin color doesn’t determine skill. I just wish people would realize that by now.
