Over the last couple of weeks, Jeremy Lin has taken the NBA world by storm after leading the New York Knicks to seven wins over their last seven games by averaging 24.6 points over the last eight games. Considering they did a hilarious skit on Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow back in December, it seemed like only a matter of time before Saturday Night Live joined in on “Linsanity”–which they did this past weekend.
With former SNL cast member Maya Rudolph as the host, the hit NBC show opened this week’s episode with a hilarious sketch involving the hosts of “New York Sports Now” as they discussed Lin and all the popular phrases created over the last couple of weeks because of the former Harvard standout. Overall, a hilarious video by SNL when it comes to Lin and you have to give the show credit for poking fun at the stereotyping the point guard has been dealing with over the last few weeks without taking it too far. Thanks to Black Sports Online for the video above.
