Harvard Is Headed To NCAA Tournament; First Time Since 1946
It’s a good year to be a Harvard fan. First, Linsanity and Harvard alum Jeremy Lin have taken the NBA by storm. Now on Tuesday, by virtue of Penn’s loss to Princeton, the Crimson are headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1946.
Last year, Harvard had a chance to make the tournament, but was thwarted by Princeton in the final game.
At 26-4, Harvard should be in a position to maybe upset a team or two in the tournament. If Harvard gets a 11 or 12 seed, they could be a trendy pick to upset a major conference power.
Good for Harvard. It’s nice to finally see something go right for them in life.
