New Book Claims NFL Cheerleaders Fight Each Other Over Breast Implants
Well, I can’t lie to my readers. This might be the oddest story that has ever crossed in front of my eyes. NBC Sports has a story that contains an excerpt from Laura Vikmanis’s upcoming book, who happens to be the oldest NFL cheerleader. Vikmanis is a member of the Ben-gals, the cheerleading squad for the Cincinnati Bengals.
As with most large groups of people, not everyone likes each other. The different ages, races, and all sorts of other things come in. However, Vikmanis states the biggest reason for dislike on cheerleading squads is breast implants. Seriously.
In a recent interview with the Cincinnati Enquirer about her book Vikmanis revealed that not all 36 girls on the squad got along. But the surprising statement is where the divide on the team comes from:
“The most prominent division on the Ben-Gals is not between the young girls and the older girls but between the Real Boobs and the Fake Boobs. This is despite the fact that at any given time, a third of the Real Boobs are considering implants,” she told the Enquirer.
I don’t know if this is a sign that the America is awesome or that the world is ending soon. Just remember the next time you see cheerleaders fight, a discussion about breast implants probably preceded it.
