Man’s Obituary Says He Wanted Out Before Denver Broncos Acquired Quarterback Peyton Manning
In the most ridiculous obituary I have seen in quite some time, a Denver Broncos fan says he wanted out before quarterback, Peyton Manning officially became a Denver Bronco.
Below is what Jim Driver’s obituary read in the Columbia Daily Tribune
James H. “Jim” Driver, 78, of Eagle, Colo., formerly of Columbia, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012, at South Hampton Place in Columbia after a brief illness. An avid Broncos fan, he abhorred Manning and evidently wanted out before a deal was done.
That is as hardcore a fan that I have ever heard of. Dyeing to make a point is a new all time high, or low, depending upon who you ask.
Of course, Driver did not write the obituary himself, but rather one of his family members. Whoever it was that wrote it, took a risk at coming off insensitive. I am not in his family but, I think it’s hysterical. In a time of mourning, laughter and sports are there to help you heal.
I hope that this helps the family move forward from their loss.
