Video: Ray Lewis’ Pep Talk to the Stanford Men’s Basketball Team
Ray Lewis is great at a lot of things. He is an expert at tackling people, pre-game routines, and beating murder charges. I kid, I kid! But seriously, if there is one thing that Ray Lewis is a true expert at, it’s motivational speeches.
Forget Matt Foley, I want Ray Lewis to motivate me. Recently, for some reason that is unknown to me, Ray Lewis gave the Stanford’s men’s hoops team a motivational speech before their NIT game. Lewis has no connection to Stanford as far as I know, but does it really matter?
After Lewis’ two minute masterpiece, Stanford went out and defeated UMass 74-64, proving that Ray Lewis can make anyone run through a wall.
It’s going to be a sad day when Lewis walks away from the NFL, but it’s clear he can become a fantastic coach, or at least make people get off their butts and do stuff. I mean, are you really going to tell Ray Lewis no? Maybe Ray Lewis can become an Office Linebacker like Terry Tate? I know if I was a CEO and wanted things done correctly, I’d be calling Ray Lewis.
Just look at this speech before the AFC Championship game for example. Too bad a kicker, like Billy Cundiff, ruined the greatness.
God bless you, Ray Lewis. You are certainly one of a kind.
Thanks to Rule of Tree for the video.
