Ahh, soccer. Like the metric system, us Americans don’t care about it. And no, I don’t count for three weeks during a World Cup as caring. However, throughout the rest of the world, soccer is the coolest thing ever. The rest of the world loves its gracefulness, elegance, and expert ball dribbling. But us Americans love ruthlessness, violence, and people beating each other to a pulp. Ergo, we love futbol norteamericano more than futbol. But when we see that violence in a soccer match, sign me up! Especially, if there is a giant soccer brawl!

I don’t know anything about these teams, players, or country for that matter, but let me break this down for you. This guy is really pissed off, and he wants to go hunt some heads. In a sport where flopping is so prevalent, it’s nice to see someone just go raise hell for a few seconds. I know I’d want to punch some dude if he reacted like he fell out of a moving care from a simple slide tackle.

I wonder what has this guy so mad, but man, that full on charge is excellent. You can’t fault the chap for not hustling down the line, he goes at it at full speed.

Unfortunately for the aggressor, the police showed up, cuffing and arresting him. Poor guy. Just brought some excitement in the game, and they are escorting him out in a police car.

This got me to thinking as well, we haven’t seen a good brawl in awhile. We are long overdue for another “Malace in the Palace”, or White Sox – Tigers brawl sometime, aren’t we?

I guess we can only hope our big brawl is right around the corner, in a sport that is actually interesting. I kid! I Kid!
