The Seattle Kingdome Visitor’s Dugout Can Be Yours For Just $7,500
Who doesn’t want to own a piece of baseball history? Well, if you’re a baseball fan or a Seattle Mariners fan then, you can buy one now.
The visitors dugout from the Seattle Kingdome is currently listed on eBay with a buy-it-now price of $7,499.99. Unfortunately, that doesn’t include the shipping.
From the Center Field Sports listing on Ebay:
This dugout was on the 1st base side in the Kingdome. The visitor dugout consists of five individual sections. Each section is between 13 and 18 feet long and 8 feet high and 7 feet deep. One of the sections has the doorway that lead into the visitor clubhouse. There is also the section that contains the helmet rack, bat racks and phone lines to the bullpen and press box. The tubes that held bats (were) stolen while this was in storage. It is a common pvc pipe that can be replaced. This section also contains (an) area for the tv cameras.
Just imagine, you can own a piece of Seattle and baseball history, where Ken Griffey Jr. and Alex Rodriguez once sat. Also, for you New York Yankee fans out there, Derek Jeter rested his keister during his big league debut on May 29, 1995.
In my mind, it is an amazing opportunity for an outrageous price. I am surprised that somewhere like the Hall of Fame doesn’t want something from here. I am sure they have something.
One can only hope that somebody will get it and cherish it like so many would.
One does have to ask the question, if this were Old Yankee Stadium dugouts, how much would these go for?
