Sage Steele And Jalen Rose Discuss Dinner Plans On SportsCenter

The joys of live television apparently caught up with Sage Steele and Jalen Rose on Sportscenter.  The two did not realize that they were on TV and seemed to be discussing when Rose was going to take Steele out for dinner sometime in the next week.

I am not going to lie, this was one of the most awkward moments in SportsCenter history.  Neither of the two knew that they were on television, so there was apparently a missed message between the producers and those two.  The two anchors back in Bristol were absolutely dumbfounded by the discussion.

I wouldn’t exactly call the Sage Steele – Jalen Rose interaction flirting, but you could make the argument that the two were.  They could be just friends going out to dinner but it sounded an awful lot like Rose and Steele were planning a date.  That would certainly be something if everyone caught wind of it because they were talking about it on SportsCenter.

This will certainly be something to follow if you are into that sort of thing.  This why live TV is so great.  You never know what is going to happen.  This became one of the best moments of Finals coverage so far.

I guess there is only one question left about this interaction.  Where do Sage Steele and Jalen Rose plan on going for dinner?  Will this interaction being caught on camera cause an end to the dinner plans?  We can only wait to find out.
