Eric LeGrand is a guy that can inspire the world.  The former player at Rutgers was paralyzed from the neck down during a football game.  However, he is slowly regaining mobility and many believe he will walk again.  He was on hand at the ESPYS and won the Jimmy V Perseverance Award and gave a great speech.

If you do not find Eric LeGrand inspiring, there is something wrong.  The kid is a tremendous role model for anyone who wants to overcome something.  He continually makes progress in his fight and has never had a bad word to say about it.  He just does whatever he can to regain his abilities.

I mean, he took time give shout outs to the people that he knows that never had visitors.  How many people would think to do that?  It makes the problems that the rest of us face seem so small.

I personally believe that LeGrand will walk again.  He is that determined and he is one of the hardest working people out there.  He knows how hard he has to fight and I believe that he is going to get there.  It might take him years, but do not count out LeGrand.  He is going to make a recovery beyond what people will expect.

I am not a fan of the ESPYS at all but moments like this and the Pat Summitt tribute make the show for me.  They may waste a lot of time on stupid things, but they still get the point across with these awesome speeches and tributes.
