Adrien Broner Fakes Marriage Proposal In Order To Get Hair Brushed After Fight
Adrien Broner is certainly a character. He had a big fight Saturday night and he emerged victorious. During the post fight interview, it looked like Broner was going to propose to his girlfriend as he dropped to a knee. However, he asked her to brush his hair, not marry him.
I think a lot of people will be mad at this move but I could not stop laughing during it. It certainly shows that Broner either does not care about anything or his sense of humor is incredible. Not many people can pull off a move like this and not have their girlfriend slap them across the face.
I have the feeling that we will see Adrien Broner and more of his antics in the future. He is quickly climbing the ranks and personalities sell in boxing. He did a lot of weird things before the fight which attracted a lot of attention on Twitter. If you can capture the minds of the Internet, you are going to have attention for a while.
This could have been one of the most heartfelt moments in boxing history but I think we can all agree with how this turned out. I think the fake proposal + hair brushing comment was the best way to take this. As long as Broner’s girlfriend does not dump him, this move will certainly work out well.
This better start a trend for athletes everywhere. Certainly a good way to get yourself on the news.
