Usain Bolt Dominates 200 Meter Final At 2012 Summer Olympics
John David Mercer-US PRESSWIRE

Usain Bolt simply can not be beat in a sprint.  The track star took home another gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, this time in the 200 meter final.  Not a bad week at the games for Bolt, who set an Olympic record in the 100 meter final.

Usain Bolt has proven that he is simply the best sprinter in the entire world.  There were rumors that he was past his prime and that his top competitors would finally unseat him, but he has proven everyone wrong this past week.  His run in the 100 was simply superb.  His run in the 200 was even better.

Bolt has the advantage of being so much taller than the other sprinters.  He does not have to take as many strides in order to cover all that ground.  Once he gets up to top speed, he takes no time at all to cover a bunch of ground.  It is almost unfair watching him dominate race after race.

This is just another notch in Bolt’s belt and he will probably end up with more medals in the relays.  His dominance right now is almost unheard of in track.  He is setting records left and right and he makes it look effortless.  People will always remember watching Usain Bolt run.  It will be quite the thing to tell future generations about how effortless Bolt made the races look.

Usain Bolt has another medal and the rest of the world will have to wait until 2016 to try to unseat him as the world’s fastest man.  Until he loses a race like this at the Olympics, you would be hard pressed to say that there is a better sprinter in the world.  He just makes it look too easy while everyone else is left eating his dust.
