Michael Vick Gets Hurt Again During Preseason

Michael Vick might want to take some preseason games off.  The Philadelphia Eagles are taking on the New England Patriots but the big story of the game is that Vick has left the field due to a rib injury.  As you can tell from the video, Vick had his world rocked on this play.

This is sadly becoming a common theme for Michael Vick and the Eagles. They will never play to their full potential because Vick can not stay on the field.  This play is almost unnecessary as Vick is trying to throw a hero ball.  It is the preseason dude.  Just take the sack and live to play another down.  By opening himself up like that, it hurts him and his team in the long run.

This injury might not be serious but it should scare Eagles fans and fantasy owners alike.  Vick and his talent are always tantalizing but he can never stay healthy.  If he misses time, the Eagles are not going to make the playoffs for the second straight year.  That is not going to fly in Philly.  They expect great performance year after year.

Hopefully Vick is able to return from this injury and be ready for the start of the regular season.  The hopes of the Eagles and their fans rest on his shoulder and legs.  If he is unable to go, you are left staring at Nick Foles and wondering what you ended up getting yourself into.
