Erin Andrews Mixes Up Her Days After Stanford Beats USC
Let me start this post off by saying that I am not a fan of Erin Andrews. It has nothing to do with the fact that she is a woman, mind you. I just think that her ceiling is a sideline reporter and nothing more. If you don’t believe me, just watch this video from the Fox post game after Stanford beat USC.
If you don’t want to watch, I have the quote below this phrase.
“Nobody is going to class tomorrow morning. Smart kids at Stanford, they’re not going to class!”
Thanks for that, Erin. People will not be going to class after a big upset on SATURDAY. Maybe things are different in the Pac-12, but I have never heard of a school that has class on Sunday. This brings me back to my ceiling quote on Andrews. She simply struggles when she is forced to go off script and ad lib. It is not an easy thing to do, but she’s just bad at it.
There is a reason that ESPN let her go. They did not want to pay the money to her that she was going to demand. They knew she had a ceiling and that they had some in-house replacements ready to go. Andrews is perfect for interviewing coaches and being on the sidelines, but a studio show is not where she belongs.
Maybe I am being overly critical as the show is brand new. However, she has to pick it up before people really pile on the criticism.
