With the Brooklyn Nets starting fresh this year, everyone has been waiting to see the new uniforms for the team. We know the color scheme but we just aren’t sure how they are going to look. However, the photo above might give us the biggest clue yet as this has supposedly leaked out.
If these are the real uniforms, I can certainly say that I am a fan. Sometimes teams over think a simple thing like this. The uniforms look clean. There isn’t a lot going on with them and that is perfectly okay. The black and white contract looks well done and the extra black stripe in the white is also fresh.
However, this is the internet. These uniforms might not be true at all and it could be another false leak. I am hoping that these are the real ones because they actually look nice. I have the bad feeling that if they try to do too much, they are going to look gaudy.
I expect big things out of the Nets this year. They have a new uniform, a new arena, and a new roster. They may not win the Finals, but they should scare some teams along the way. After years of being a crappy team, that is all you can ask for. If you give them a couple years, Brooklyn should become a marquee free agent destination.
Let us hope these uniforms are the real ones because you can’t top this.
