Trevor Bayne and Ricky Stenhouse are two of NASCAR’s brightest young stars. Stenhouse has been dominating at the Nationwide level and will join the Sprint Cup next season. Bayne is best known for winning the 2011 Daytona 500, a win which shocked everyone. The two are also good friends so they decided to compete with each other to see who could sell the most Valvoline NextGen motor oil.
NextGen Oil is a new type of oil that is made up of 50 percent recycled oil. Not exactly a bad thing for the environment. If you can cut back on use and re-use some old products, I think that is something that can benefit all of us in the long run.
Anyways, let’s get into the video. It is always interesting to see famous people try to work at an everyday type of job. They looked uncomfortable at first, but they did quickly take to the job. It did have some humorous moments and I think that is what we all would come to expect.
See, I think we could have all show based around this type of thing. It would certainly give ESPN or another sports network some good programming. Take athletes and have them perform sales jobs like this. It might seem like an old idea, but no one has ever really stuck with it to see how successful it can be. I would bet that a lot of people would watch to see athletes hawking products to people.
