Fierce Five Gymnasts Show their Humorous Side [VIDEO]

 

It’s been a solid 2 months since the London 2012 summer games, and if you are like me, you still might be experiencing athlete withdrawls.

But the gold medal-winning gymnastics team, featuring McKayla Maroney, Gabby Douglas, Jordyn Weiber, Kyla Ross, and Aly Raisman, have been hitting the road on their Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions.

The tour began September 8, and has already been to 14 cities across the country, with many more to go.  In order to promote the tour, the gymnasts were filmed giving a shoutout to fans to come see them, but as you’ll see in this hilarious clip, even Olympic gymnasts aren’t perfect!

It is nice to see their personalities shine once in a while. They tend to seem monotone and scripted when they are doing interviews on the Olympics and how they felt about it (If you were getting asked the same questions time after time, you might sound monotonous too), so to see them laugh and giggle at each other is quite refreshing.

McKayla Maroney has GOT to have the cutest, most innocent voice in the world, and Aly Raisman looks like one silly girl as she “shoos” Jordyn Wieber out of the room for making her mess up. Kyla Ross must be a good interviewer, because she is barely shown in this blooper reel.

We’re glad they’re enjoying their time post-Olympics, and are making time for some fun in between shows for the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions. And if you are even a little bit interested in seeing these athletes in action, look for a stop of the tour in a city near you today.
