NFL Week 7: Ten Random Photos for Your Enjoyment

NFL
Brett-Davis-US-PRESSWIRE

Week 7 in the NFL was maybe not quite as crazy as the weeks prior, but it was still a weekend packed full of great games. We now have a pretty clear picture of who the real contenders are this season.

The week kicked off with the San Francisco 49ers showing that the road to the NFC West title still runs through them. The 49ers haven't been quite as dominant as some projected they'd be this season, but I don't think there's much doubt they'll be right there in the playoff picture again this January.

The Green Bay Packers have put their struggles from a few weeks ago behind them, as they over-powered the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers has regained his MVP form and looks poised to lead the Pack back to the postseason.

Some are starting to call the New York Giants the best team in the league. After a third straight win it seems that people finally have faith in the G-Men. I don't know why it took so long, even after a second Super Bowl win in five years, the Giants still weren't getting the respect they deserved. Eli Manning however has shown that he may in fact be the best quarterback in the league, and that New York might have the most complete team in the NFL.

With all the action and storylines that could be debated in other types of articles, I decided to take a little more of a light-hearted view of Week 7. Here are some random photos from around the league that caught my eye:

Fred Jackson is Really Focused?

NFL
Timothy-T.-Ludwig-US-PRESSWIRE

Jackson seems either really confused or really focused in this unique photograph. I'm not sure which one it is, but it looks like he made the catch. Jackson racked up 120 total yards and a touchdown in the team's loss Sunday.

Brian Robison Causes a John Skelton Fumble

NFL
Bruce Kluckhohn-US PRESSWIRE

Robison got to Skelton from behind in this shot, causing a red zone fumble that the Minnesota Vikings recovered. However the momentum was short-lived as Christian Ponder quickly threw an interception to give the ball right back.

Patriots' Fans Hating on the Sanchize

NFL
Greg-M.-Cooper-US-PRESSWIRE

Apparently New England Patriots fans think Mark Sanchez is a loser who should hang himself? Everybody is certainly entitled to their opinion...

As far as Sanchez on the field, I'm still not convinced he's good enough to lead his team back into Super Bowl contention.

Darren McFadden Turned Upside Down

NFL
Kirby-Lee-US-PRESSWIRE

McFadden has not been very impressive in 2012, only rushing for 324 yards and 2 touchdowns through 7 weeks. However this picture is pretty neat, with McFadden showing some serious athletic ability and strength resting on one arm.

Dallas Clark Scoring with the Creamsicle Uniforms

NFL
Kim-Klement-US-PRESSWIRE

Clark had his best game of the year in week 7, racking up 51 yards and a touchdown. However this picture is in the mix because of the magnificent creamsicle uniforms. I used to hate these things growing up, but now wish they were busted out more often. They're not so bad...

Nothing to Do with Halloween

NFL
Matt-Stamey-US-PRESSWIRE

The New Orleans Saints arguably have the best fans in the NFL. This guy did it up right in week 7 with some 'Papa Shango' like face paint. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess this has nothing to do with Halloween though...

Buffalo LB Bryan Scott Says Hello To Tennessee TE Taylor Thompson

NFL
Kevin-Hoffman-US-PRESSWIRE

There's not much you can do when someone has a hold of your face mask, and Taylor Thompson looks to be an example of that here. However the Tennessee Titans were able to do something Sunday, as they edged out the Buffalo Bills 35-34.

Matt Schaub Goes Behind the Back

NFL
Thomas-Campbell-US-PRESSWIRE

This was one of the only plays that went well for the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The Houston Texans came out and punched the Ravens in the mouth, left them laying on the ground, and walked over the lifeless bodies. This game was a classic case of two teams heading in opposite directions.

Ahmad Bradshaw with a 'Wwwhhhuuuppp'

NFL
The-Star-Ledger-US-PRESSWIRE

I absolutely love this picture, it's a perfect example of a Chris Berman 'wwwhhhuuuppp.' Bradshaw returned to action Sunday to rush for 43 yards and a touchdown, helping the Giants to a win, and into sole possession of first place in the NFC East.

Colts' CB Vontae Davis Desperately Trying to Make a Play

NFL
Thomas-J.-Russo-US-PRESSWIRE

Talk about a unique moment frozen in time, Davis is fully extended on this one. My favorite part is his facial expression. To say that he has wiley eyes would be an understatement. The Indianapolis Colts won the game, and now sit at 3-3 in a realistic position to make a postseason run in 2012.
